Reality Displaced
Reference Page
Introduction
Yes, I’m perfectly aware that this universe is rather confusing. In fact, it confuses me as well. I know that I need to refer to a table to know which Bob-White can do what, so I thought I would share some basic information to help keep the facts straight. Some facts develop from story to story, so this page is arranged in universe order with ample spaces to avoid spoilers.

Timeline
A basic outline of the timeline is as follows:
- Summer, 2006: Stopgap Jim
- Summer, 2007: Double Bind
- 6 July, 2008: Fractured
- August, 2008: Mind Games
At the end of Stopgap Jim
We now know that all seven alternate Bob-Whites have abilities and that any regular Bob-White who travels through the portal to that reality will have that ability, too.
Bob-White | Ability |
---|---|
Brian | Super strength |
Jim | Invisibility |
Mart | X-ray vision |
Dan | Flight |
Trixie | Bullet-proof skin and bad-guy radar |
Diana | Hypnotic suggestion |
Honey | Super hearing |
At the end of Double Bind
All of the Bob-Whites from both realities now know that all the alternate Bob-Whites have abilities (except for Brian, who lost his ability at the end of the story). Also, all of the Bob-Whites from both realities can now make portals. There is a little hint at the end that something else has changed…
At the end of Fractured
We now know that the regular Bob-Whites have abilities and that they are different from the alternate Bob-Whites’.
It is important to note that the abilities don’t transfer between the two original realities. For example, if they’re in the regular reality, both Dianas can fly and if they’re in the alternate one both Dianas have hypnotic suggestion. If they are in some other reality, they keep the ability they had before they got there.
Bob-White | Alternate Ability | Regular Ability |
---|---|---|
Brian | None (formerly, Super strength) | None |
Jim | Invisibility | Super hearing |
Mart | X-ray vision | Hypnotic suggestion |
Dan | Flight | Bullet-proof skin and bad-guy radar |
Trixie | Bullet-proof skin and bad-guy radar | Invisibility |
Diana | Hypnotic suggestion | Flight |
Honey | Super hearing | X-ray vision |
