Day 11, Sentence 3:
Mart gaped as his college-aged daughter and her friend Samantha, known as Sammy, walked in the door of Crabapple Farm, but she explained, “We drove down here with Uncle Brian, said hello to Hoppy in the town, came back here to get rid of his old yellow bicycle, now we’re taking the truck and picking up Uncle Bobby’s teddy bear from where he hid him under a pile of leaves.”
Day 12, Sentence 3:
Mart opened the back door and peered into the darkened yard, wondering if his daughter Sarah had dropped in again after her bizarre errand with Brian, only to find her friend Sammy, who carried a flashlight in one hand and had a water gun gripped tightly in the other, with which she squirted him square in the chest, then immediately cried, “Oh, I’m so sorry; I thought you were Sarah.”
